During one late summer week the cultural life of Stockholm explodes in more than 400 shows performed by 250 artist and groups from all over the globe. The festival area this year stretches from Sergels torg, the big square in front of the central "Kulturhuset", to the entrance of the Royal Dramatic Theatre - a total distance of 1000 meters. There will be free admission to 99% of the programme.
