COUP DE CHAUFFE IN COGNAC is a yearly open air event, open and free to different kinds of public which takes place on the first weekend of September. The characteristic feature of ‘Coup de Chauffe' consists of the nomad character that has dreamt this event with the need to work also on the urban scenography, involving plastic artists, technicians, artists from different artistic forms: music, dance, circus, street..., fertilized by nature or for the occasion.

The objective of this event is to appropriate time for a weekend of emotion, dream, shiver while preserving the conviviality and to share symbolic signs and an unforgettable vision of a district of their town with the public.

Our strength consists of our capacity to find cross-fertilization between different artistic forms and in that way to knit links between music, dance, circus, the street...
